A little help.
Less interruption.

Open Red’s sign-in screen and choose its recovery option. Use the newest recovery email. Don’t forward the link to anyone. If mail is slow, check spam before requesting another link.

An account can be signed in on three devices. A different browser or private window can count as another device. Choose the device to sign out during sign-in, or manage Devices in the Account menu. Saved writing stays in your account; unsynced work remains on the original device.

Public registration is closed while Red prepares to open. Existing accounts can sign in.

Keep the current tab open. Check the save message and your connection, then give Red a chance to reconnect. Before signing out or clearing browser data, copy any unsaved text somewhere you control.

If Red offers a conflict comparison, review both versions. Don’t overwrite one simply to make the message disappear.

Use Account → Backup & recovery to create a portable recovery copy. Save the file somewhere you control and protect it: it contains private work. A recovery copy does not restore spent AI allowance or change payment history.

Some writing and stage tools keep work on the device for offline use. Prepare the work you need while connected and check its download status. AI conversation, account actions and connected services need a connection. Don’t assume everything is available on a device that has never opened it.

A completed AI writing exchange or a separately requested generated review can use a writing request. A written exchange that also captures ideas on the Board counts as one request. Manual edits, organization and search do not.

Technical failures return unused allowance. A successfully completed result is still a completed request if you decide not to keep its suggestions.

Live voice uses time connected to the conversation. Pause ends that connection and stops its meter. Show transcription uses the recording’s duration. Asking for a separate AI review may also use a writing request.

Open Account → Plan & usage. If a payment window closes or a result is unclear, return there and refresh its status before trying another payment. Public paid subscriptions are not active yet.

Use Undo after placement, or manage the idea on its Board. Grow Board can be turned off for the bit. Waiting ideas lets you recover captures that have not yet been placed. Your existing draft is not automatically replaced.

Red can only preserve structure present in the export. Review the import preview for the text, tags and organization it found before adding material. Keep the original export. Some app-specific exports need further compatibility testing; there is no promise that every format imports perfectly.

Calendar, Gmail and Contacts have separate permission and review steps. You choose what to import or apply. Google permissions can cover more data than the items you select in Red. Public Google approval and hosted acceptance are still being completed.

For iCloud Contacts, use an app-specific password, never your normal Apple Account password. Real-account acceptance is still pending.

Disconnect stops Red using that saved connection. Previously imported gigs, contacts or travel details remain until you remove them. You can also revoke access with the original provider. See connected-service data for details.
